Have to and 2) It'll just happen again in a couple of weeks. I refuse to pay to have this fixed again, because 1) I shouldn't I believe the issue is driver-related, but I'm no good with IT stuff or Windows, so I don't know if my hunch is even correct, and if it is, what I should do.
Dolphin emulator netplay support update#
I let it update and restarted my machine.
Dolphin emulator netplay support drivers#
When I tried to update the drivers, Windows said that my drivers were up-to-date, but that I should check Windows Update as it might be able to find better drivers, so IĬhecked Windows Update and it said there was an update pending.

Windows updated itself with absolutely no warning and now Dolphin is running at 10FPS.

For about 2 weeks when the exact same thing happened again. I took it to an IT repair place who fixed it (btw completely unfair that I had to pay to reverse a buggy update that I didn't even want) and everything was fine. I messed with windows settings and drivers and the situation kept getting I only use this machine for playing Dolphin (Gamecube emulator), it worked fine a month ago, but then an update was forced on me and the emulator started running at 10FPS (60 is normal).
